Elves
"A century is a mere blink of an eye to an elf " - Elvish Proverb
Common Features
All elves of Amora share certain physical characteristics that classify them as elves, which are...
- Narrow Builds - All elves are born with naturally narrow body frames, making them thinner, and slightly taller than most other races. However, looks can be deceiving, just because they are narrowly built does not necessarily mean they are always physically frail.
- Long Pointed Ears - Unique to elves only, long and pointed ears are usually the first thing for people to notice about an elf. Long and slender, elven ears grant them sensitive hearing, able to detect the faintest of sounds; giving them a natural advantage as scouts and rangers. This also plays into the natural behavior of elves; to observe and reflect before taking action is a more common trait in them than any other race, but sometimes this leads to inaction all together.
- Glowing Eyes - Caused by their natural affinity for magic, elven eyes glow naturally, even in the dark they can be seen by others. Each race of elves have a unique eye color that all members of that specific race share with little to no difference between members.
- Long Lifespans - Living much longer than most other races on Amora, elves can live for many centuries. The Drow Elves, however, are the only known elves to be immortal. Despite this longevity, elves do not mature any slower than the other races. They usually mature at around 30 or so and remain at their matured age for the majority of their life.
D&D Race Stats - All Elves
- Darkvision - Accustomed to darker settings and more nocturnal activity, elves have superior vision in dark or dim conditions. Elves can see in dim light within 60 feet of them as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. However, they cannot discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
- Keen Senses - Always vigilant, elves gain proficiency in the Perception skill.
- Magical Affinity - All elves have some degree of magical skill giving them advantage on saving throws against being charmed, also magic cannot put them to sleep.
The Elves of Amora
A race of fair skinned elves bearing the closest resemblance to man out of all their elven kin; the wood elves hold true to their name and are ones with nature. The wood elves originated from the misty Taul Valleys, a hostile and verdant fey forest they shared with a race of primordial and savage humans: the Taulsmen. The wood elves' vast empire was mostly wiped out by the out-worldly and alien Erebis, enslaving both men and elf alike. The few who survived live on as a smaller island nation, steadfast on reigniting their ancient empire once more.

The enigmatic and isolated drow elves are a rare sight to outsiders. These immortal elves are incredibly gifted with magic and prefer to study within their silver city: Tel'Merus. Few drow elves ever leave the city, but when they do they are often seen as mysterious and odd, although for the superstitious they appear as an ill omen.

The dark elves are a race of elves originating from the Infernal Realms. With demonic blood coursing through them, they are often reviled as bloodthirsty and savage. However, those who call themselves "Dirahku" walk a different path: the sect of dark elves are of extreme discipline and atonement, constantly struggling for inner peace against their raging demonic blood inside. Most Dirahku have devoted their lives in service of hunting demons and closing the Hellgates that once brought them to Amora, in an attempt to condone for their races' past sins.

A race of incredibly intelligent elves, the high elves known as the Angeris pride themselves with the independence they gained from the Aethereal Realms many centuries ago. The voluntary exodus from their heavenly realms allowed the Angeris to focus on their pursuit of magic and technology uninterrupted by the constant wars and skirmishes of the realms of Aether and Infernum, or so they assumed.
